CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnotic or suggestive therapy is the oldest of all healing techniques. From the sleep temples of Egypt through the histories of ancient Greece and Rome some form of hypnosis has always been an intimate part of all cultures. In 1955 the British Medical Association endorsed the practice of hypnosis in Medical School Education, since when it has become a valuable addition to conventional treatment.

The actual experience of being hypnotised is very difficult to describe, neither asleep nor awake. All hypnotic states are characterised by a tremendously pleasant state of relaxation, into which individuals allow themselves to enter so that desired beneficial suggestions may be given directly to the unconscious mind. Nobody can ever be hypnotised against his or her will, and even when hypnotised, people can still reject any of the suggestions given if they are not appropriate.

It is estimated that approximately 85% of people of all age groups will readily respond to clinical Hypnotherapy. It is often successful when other, more conventional methods of treatment have failed. Hypnotherapy is completely natural and safe and there are no harmful side effects. When administered by a professionally trained and skilled Hypnotherapist the benefits are long lasting and often permanent. Almost any problem can be dealt with by Hypnosis.

MERIDIAN PRACTITIONER (EFT)

EFT is both profound and can be a permanent method of treatment. It is a form of tapping on the nerve endings of the Meridian System, a very simple technique. It can be administered to children as a surrogate via the Practitioner or can be taught to the Mother of the child to use when necessary. It is particularly helpful to children who have inner frustration and are unable to articulate this to their parents. EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique.

Mary holds a certificate as Practitioner of Meridian Therapies (EFT) from the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Therapies.

PAST LIFE REGRESSION

  • Most people if they were honest would admit to having wondered about “have I had a past life?” Why not come and find out for yourselves?

Past Lives can answer questions about issues you have had in this present life. Maybe a fear of something. Being afraid of the dark. Being afraid of losing your eye sight or your hearing. It is important that we put closure in every life to things which have upset us in some way. A disagreement with a good friend or a member of our family for example. When we have past Life Regression it is important that we put closure to anything in that life that was left open at the time we passed from that life. To bring back with us all that was good and positive in that life and to destroy anything in that life that was bad, but to do this safely, with the help of a professional Hypnotherapist.

Mary has a diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and is a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. MBSCH is an organisation which governs the Code, Practice and Ethics of its members. Membership of the Society is open to those who have aquired the requisite Professional and Clinical training in the major aspects of Psychology, Psychotherapy and Hynotherapy.
